Estate Department
The Estate Department is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Assembly's assets. These assets may be fixed or movable. The portfolio of fixed assets include Markets, Assembly offices and residences, public open and/or recreation spaces, sanitary buildings, lorry parks, the Prempeh Assembly Hall and a host of other ancillary/quasi public buildings.Â
The movable properties include but not limited to office accessories and equipment, Assembly-owned furniture and chattels scattered over in all official residences.
The Department is also responsible for allocation of stores, prepares and executes tenancy agreements for occupants of all its properties and keep inventory of all movable and immovable properties.
The Department registers title documentation for all the Assembly's fixed properties to enhance their investment potential by way of providing equity to partner private sector for development.
Valuation of all Assembly's properties is also done by the Department
