The Mayor of Almere to Visit Kumasi
The Mayor of the City of Almere in the Netherlands H.E. Annemarie Lebbink-Jorritsma is due to visit Kumasi from Tuesday October 22, 2013 to Thursday 24, 2013.
Mayor Annemarie's tour of Kumasi will form part of her five-day official visit to Ghana aimed at strengthening sister city relationship between Kumasi and Almere.
She will be accompanied by the programme manager of Almere , Mr. Nico Kaptein and the project co-ordinator of Samen Werk Foundation, a Dutch NGO, Mr. Pieter Van der Linden. Other members of her delegation are Mrs. Marrianne Hop, board member, NGO Samen Werk Foundation and Mr. Paul Mulder the international co-ordinator, Kumasi-Almere.
While in Kumasi, Mayor Annemarie will hold bi-lateral talks with her Ghanaian counterpart, Hon. Kojo Bonsu, the Mayor of Kumasi.
She will also pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace and inspect some Dutch funded projects at Nhyiaso, Ayigya and Tafo Zongo.
