
Ghana Armed Forces Command Visit KMA
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Brigadier General Boimah said the purpose of the visit was to tour some selected districts in the Ashanti Region and study the socio-economic challenges that confront the people. According to him,the visit was also to afford the team the opportunity to interact with the Assemblies and find out how the Local Government system works.
In his welcome address, Mr. Michael Ataogye, the Metropolitan Co-ordinating Director of the KMA said the Assembly was glad to receive the team and said there has been a very good working relationship between the Assembly and the Ghana Army.
The various heads of department at the Assembly took the delegation through presentations in the areas of education, waste management, Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) among others.
The officers were from the junior division of the staff college and some allied students from Nigeria and Botswana.
