KMA RECEIVES SUPPORT FROM TWO INSTITUTIONS
The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has taken delivery of a number of medical logistics from the Kumasi branch of Sunda Ghana Investment Company Ltd,producers of Kleesoft Detergents on Wednesday April 6th, 2020.
According to the Managing Director, Patrick Zhang, the gesture formed part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to support the Assembly’s fight against the novel Corona Virus in the Kumasi Metropolis.
Receiving the items, the Mayor of Kumasi,Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi was grateful to the company for their support especially in these times that there was a lot of pressure on the Assembly to provide for the populace such items.
He however called on other entities toemulate such gestures and support the Assembly adding that “the fight againstthis global pandemic is a collective effort and we must all come on board “.

In a related development, FarmJet CompanyLtd, a newly established company which is located at the Adehyie Market alsodonated items to the Assembly to augment its efforts in the fight against thecorona virus pandemic.
The CEO of the company, Madam GladysAdu-Gyamfi in a remark indicated that the gesture formed part of their socialresponsibility in these difficult times.
Items included 100 pieces of knapsackSprayers, 5 pieces of Motorized sprayers and 10,000 pieces of Nose Masks.
Mr. Akuamoah Boateng, MCD of KMA who receivedthe items on behalf of the Assembly thanked the company for the donation thoughthey had just started operating. He disclosed that the items will go a long wayto aid the Assembly in the fight against Covid-19.
