GD-FOODS SUPPORTS KMA TO FIGHT COVID-19

GD-FOODS, producers and distributers of POMO and GINO products, has donated a consignment of medical equipments to the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) to support the containment of the novel COVID-19 pandemic in the Kumasi Metropolis on Monday April 20, 2020.

The items included 98 veronica buckets, 98 stands and 98 washing basins. The rest were 200 pieces of liquid soaps, and 204 packets of tissue paper.

Receiving the items, the Metro Coordinating Director, Mr. Kwadwo Akuamoah Boateng commended the company for the gesture. He said the equipments, when distributed, would goa long way to augment the efforts of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly in ensuring that people are prevented from contracting and spreading the Corona Virus.

He added that the company would be remembered as one of the corporate organizations that came to the aid of the KMA during the fight against the Corona Virus pandemic.

The presentation was done by Mr. Dilal Akbar, the Regional Marketing Executive of GD-FOODS in Ashanti.
