KUMASI MAYOR STARTS OFFICIAL DUTY TODAY

A brief but momentous ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the forecourt of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) for Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, the new Mayor of Kumasi to begin official work.

Significantly, before assuming official duty, the Mayor of Kumasi was decorated with the Mayor's Chain of Office, made from pure gold, and given a Guard of Honour by the Metro Guards.
