KMA's U-15 TOURNEY UNDERWAY

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) U-15 soccer tournament, christened KMA SPORTS CLINIC FOR UNDER 15 featuring children aged 8-14 from across the metropolis, is underway. 

The tournament, which kicked off on August 4 and is scheduled to end on August 22, 2025, aiming to promote physical activity, teamwork, and social cohesion.

In his opening address, Francis Dwira Darko, the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly's Coordinating Director, advised participating teams and officials to display good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. 

He encouraged the young footballers to play their hearts out, noting that the tournament could be a springboard to greater heights in their football careers.

Joining him at the kick-off ceremony were Hon. Isaac Kwasi Acheampong, Assembly member for Adoato, Mr. Kingsley Sarkodie, Youth and Sports Committee (YSC) convenor, along with the Head of Records and secretary of YSC, members of YSC, and other Assembly members.
