WORKSHOP ON THE OPERATIONALISATION OF RECORDS MANAGEMENT MANUAL HELD AT KMA

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has held a workshop on the operationalization of records management manual for Records Management Unit and Executive officers at the KMA conference Hall.

The purpose of the workshop is to evaluate the effectiveness of the new record management system, discuss the challenges in its implementation, and also to discuss the implementation of the new electronic system next year.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Francis Dwira Darko, the Metro Co-ordinating Director indicated that the days of the manual system of records management were over since everything currently is in a digital platform.

He urged all the participants to take the session serious in getting themselves abreast with the modern electronic manual to help in managing the records of the Assembly to be in tune with modern standards.
