KMA BOSS VISITS ONGOING SCREENING OF RECRUITS AT THE BABA YARA SPORTS STADIUM

The Mayor of Kumasi Hon. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi paid a working visit to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to familiarize himself with the ongoing recruitment and body selection into the Ghana Armed Forces.

In an interview with the media, the Mayor commended the organizers for the improved arrangements this year.

Hon. Boadi sympathized with the parents and guardians of affected recruits and assured them of government’s continued support during this period. He also donated medical supplies to aid the ongoing exercise

The Mayor later visited the KNUST and Kumasi South Hospitals where four affected recruits were receiving treatment following the incidents on the first day of the exercise.

As at the time of the visit, all the four have been treated and discharged.
