KMA ORGANIZES CLEAN UP EXERCISE AT BANTAMA MARKET AND RACECOURSE MARKET

The Mayor of Kumasi, Honourable Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, was joined by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, to supervise a clean-up exercise at Bantama Market and Racecourse Market on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

The clean-up activity, named National Sanitation Day, is sanctioned by the government and was scheduled for Saturday, March 7, but took place today due to the 69th Independence Anniversary Celebrations to be held on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Staff of KMA and students from Armed Forces Senior High School predominantly took part, while traders idly looked on.
