KMA CELEBRATES MUSLIMS ON EID-UL-ADHA

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) joined millions across the globe to celebrate the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, a significant time commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s holy sacrifice to Allah.

The celebration is also marked to praise Allah and to demonstrate love and care for humanity.

In a tribute read on behalf of Metropolitan Chief Executive Hon. Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi by Metro Coordinating Director Mr. Francis Dwira Darko, he called on Muslims to uphold peace, love, and sacrifice as Ghana marked Eid-ul-Adha.

The event was held on Wednesday, 26th May 2026, at the T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School forecourt in Kumasi.

He stated that the festival reflects Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and submission to Allah, meant to show love for Allah and promote peace among humanity.

Hon. Boadi commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim community for promoting humanity and peace, citing its motto “Love for All, Hatred for None” as being in line with the spirit of the occasion.

He urged Muslims to live exemplary lives in line with the Holy Quran and stressed that peace remains the main pillar of national development.

The MCE concluded by wishing all Muslims Eid Mubarak and praying that Allah accepts their sacrifices and grants peace to Ghana.
