SUNTRESO HOSPITAL RECEIVES WASTE BINS
Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Samuel Pyne on Wednesday 12th July, 2023 donated 30waste bins to the Suntreso Hospital in Kumasi as part of efforts to support institutions in the battle against poor sanitation and waste disposal in the Kumasi metropolis.
Presenting the Bins to the hospital, the Mayor explained that, the bins were received from the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources for onward distribution but the KMA has decided to distribute its bins to educational and health facilities in the metropolis.
He was confident the gesture would go a long way to help the hospital dispose their medical waste which if not properly done may ward of patients who patronize the facility.
Hon. Pyne entreated the management of the hospital to educate the nurses on proper human relations when it comes to the handling of patients to build their trust.
