KMA BOSS DONATES TO ALMA MATER,4 GARRISON BASIC SCHOOL

The Metropolitan Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon Richard Ofori Agyeman Boadi, has donated 50 bags of cement to support the completion of a 2-storey classroom block at the 4 Garrison Education Unit at the Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi.

The donation aims to help complete the ongoing project, providing a conducive learning environment for students.

As a former pupil of the school, Hon. Boadi attributed his success to the discipline and courage he received during his time at the institution.

He emphasized the importance of giving back to his alma mater, stating, "My success today is because I was taught well in the school, so if my school is in need, I have no option but to help make it a success."

The mayor promised to utilize the Assembly's resources to ensure the completion of the first floor of the building.

This initiative demonstrates his commitment to supporting education and improving infrastructure in the community.

The 4 Garrison Education Unit is part of the Ghana Armed Forces' educational system, focusing on providing quality education to military personnel and their families.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Laryea Okorley, Head of 4 Garrison Education Unit thanked the Mayor for his support, acknowledging the importance of this initiative in enhancing the school's infrastructure.
