KUMASI MAYOR SETS AGENDA FOR NEW YEAR: FOCUS ON SANITATION, WELFARE, AND DIGITAL SHIFT.

The Mayor of Kumasi, Hon. Richard Ofori-Agyemang Boadi, together with the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. Francis Dwira Darko, has held a New Year meeting with management to reiterate his vision and strategic priorities for the year ahead. 

 

The meeting focused on improving sanitation across the metropolis, enhancing staff welfare and motivation, and fully taking advantage of the digital space to improve service delivery and communication, while strategically marketing the many opportunities in Kumasi to attract investment. 



In addition, the Mayor and the Director toured selected offices and departments under the Assembly to wish staff well for the new year, call for their support in moving the city forward, and assess the operational needs of the various departments. Heads of departments also presented brief outlines of their planned activities for the year, aligning them with the Assembly’s overall development agenda.
